Forums - Gaming Discussion - Best Canadian Devlopers?

Since it's Canada Day, I thought it'd be nice to start a thread where we talk about the best developers that are from Canada, including the most famous games made or at least worked on by these Canadian devs. I will be including ones that are no longer open or ones that are/became subsidiaries of non-Canadian companies.

Next Level Games

Radical Entertainment

Relic Entertainment

Ubisoft Toronto

Freebird Games

What are your picks for the best Canadian developers?

Since I'm from Montreal, I'll post Montréal and Québec-based game series. I'll post the list from this article, even though I just learned about Jotun. I'll also add others I researched.

My list isn't exhaustive so anyone can add to my Quebec list

Silicon Knights, they created two awesome games. Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Eternal Darkness

After the excellent and clever The Messenger, my eyes are focused on Sabotage Studio and their promising next game Sea of Stars, which I backed on Kickstarter at the “A Hero to be Remembered” tier.

Bioware for me I suppose, im surprised no one has brought them up, they are based in Canada even tho they are an EA property now.
They have had their stinkers, but I've always been a fan of the Dragon Age franchise, Mass Effect was pretty huge a while back and back in the day Baldurs Gate was pretty much my thing. Looking forward to Dragon Age 4, its taking forever to get updates on it.

I liked it too. When I played it I was learning Russian so I played it in that language and assumed it was by a Russian studio, but I later learned that it was from la ville de Québec. That's cool. We have some really talented people here.
