Yeah, I really hope to see a new game with multiple player characters and co-op, like 5 and 6. Honestly, I really liked the Jake and Sherry campaign in 6 story wise (had an amazing ending song too), even if it did have some gameplay and level design issues, give me a follow-up to that campaign Capcom! The Leon and Helena campaign was pretty good too, I'd also be happy with a follow-up to it. It doesn't have to be a numbered entry like 9, a spinoff for those who liked 5 and 6 would be fine by me.

Ugh please god no haha, I hated RE5 and 6 in large part because of the forced co-op and garbage partner AI.

Besides the annoyances of having it shoehorned into the scenario and having to rely on an unreliable ally, it's just not scary when someone's there to help you.

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

You don't have to worry about co-op causing that, because RE8 isn't remotely scary either.

I am currently sigless.

According to Steamspy, The village is still the best-selling game.

I also looked at Steamcharts.
Resi7 had up to 18000 concurrent players.
In Village it is over 100,000.
7 had the best sales in the series (8.5 million), so isn't this a good sign?

My prediction in 2021.

SW: 30m

PS5 16m

XBS: 7.5m

According to Gkf, 80% of the sales were on PS consoles.

The game is on GP, right ?

"Quagmire, are you the type of guy who takes 'no' for an answer ?"
"My lawyer doesn't allow me to answer that question"

PSN ID: skmblake | Feel free to add me

By the way
There are not many horror games with more than 10,000 concurrent users on Steam.

Alien isolation : 8400
The Evil within : 4000
Outlast: 3600

My prediction in 2021.

SW: 30m

PS5 16m

XBS: 7.5m

No. Res 7 is on Gamepass but not Res 8, Sony reportedly paid Capcom to keep it off Gamepass and Stadia Plus for at least a year.

That rumour is not true.
