Xbox Series S | Xbox Series X | PS5
Resolution | 900p-1080p dynamic | 1800p-4k dynamic | 1080p-1890p dynamic |
Framerate | 60 fps alot of the time, but with small drops to 58 or 59 fps during combat, brief drops to below 50 fps when reloading an area after dying, seems to be caused by reloading assets and these drops only last a few seconds before framerate returns to normal | 60 fps alot of the time, but it drops as low as 53 fps during combat and 50 fps when the level up message appears on screen | 60 fps alot of the time but with a few small drops to around 57 fps, but no vsync so these rare drops cause screen tearing |
Graphics settings differences | 16x anisotropic filtering through Microsoft's forced 16x AF back compat feature, screen space reflections | 16x anisotropic filtering through Microsoft's forced 16x AF back compat feature, screen space reflections | Volumetric lighting/fog is missing, lower quality cube map reflections, reduced anisotropic filtering, black levels are crushed (an issue shared with several other PS5 games) |
Load Times | 10.5-11.75 seconds | 6.5-7.5 seconds | 16-17 seconds |
Summary: Something is badly wrong on PS5, resolution is only a slight improvement over PS4 Pro and it has reduced graphics settings compared to PS4 Pro, let alone Series X. Load times on PS5 are also the slowest of the 3 platforms. DF is positive there is some kind of bug with the game's code running on PS5 back compat. PS5 does have the most stable framerate of the 3 platforms currently, but it's not significant enough to make up for the much lower resolution and reduced graphics effects.

Update:
Was patched on PS5 to add in the missing Screen space reflections and volumetrics, but Xbox Series X still has better texture filtering (thanks to Microsoft's forced 16x filtering on all back compat games) and PS5 is still 1080-1890p dynamic compared to Series X 1800p-2160p dynamic. Load times also didn't really improve on PS5, still 15 seconds compared to 6 seconds on Series X.
Additionally, here are the results for Ghost Recon Breakpoint:
Xbox Series S | Xbox Series X | PS5
Resolution mode resolution | 1440p dynamic | 2160p/4K dynamic | 1440p dynamic |
Framerate mode resolution | Not available | 1440p dynamic | 1080p dynamic |
Resolution mode framerate | 30 fps locked | 30 fps locked | 30 fps locked |
Framerate mode framerate | Not available | 60 fps almost all of the time, but can get random drops as low as 53 fps which aren't repeatable, you can die and respawn in the same area and be at locked 60 fps again | 60 fps almost all of the time, but can get random drops as low as 49 fps which aren't repeatable, you can die and respawn in the same area and be at locked 60 fps again |
Graphics settings differences | 16x anisotropic filtering through Microsoft's forced 16x AF back compat feature | 16x anisotropic filtering through Microsoft's forced 16x AF back compat feature | Lower anisotropic filtering on both modes, lower ambient occlusion setting on framerate mode |
