Forums - Gaming Discussion - Favorite Levels Where it Rains?

It's been really overcast and gloomy where I am, even rained a lot a few days ago, and I don't remember anyone bringing this up around here before, so here we are talking about video game levels where it rains.

To count it doesn't have to be constantly raining, as long as it rains for much of the level or you can do something that triggers rain in the level.

My personal favorite rainy levels.

Ropey Rampage (Donkey Kong Country)

Topsail Trouble (Donkey Kong Country 2)

Cloud Man's stage (Mega Man 7)

Chicago (Perfect Dark)

Disposal Center Raid (Mega Man Zero)

Neo Bowser City (Mario Kart 7)

Toad Man's stage (Toad Man)

New Donk City Pre-Mecha Wiggler Fight (Super Mario Odyssey)

Those are the ones I could think of off the bat, mostly because they're ones I've already played myself. What are your favorite levels where it rains?

I really like the levels where it rains in Super Mario 3D World. The rain drops trickling down on the screen adds a lot.

Yeah, and that effect carried over to Super Mario Odyssey, which you notice most in New Donk City, Fossil Falls,

City of Tears from Hollow Knight.
The music there is very soothing.

Burmecia from Final Fantasy IX comes to mind. I really like the atmosphere in the city.

I'd go for Metal Gear Solid 2, GZ/5 and Dying Light.

Dying Light especially gives off good horror vibes, coupled with lightning flashes, it makes night time exploration a nightmare.
