Forums - Gaming Discussion - Recommend me some Game Pass PC games!

The other day I decided to buy into Game Pass since it was on offer, first month for £1, might as well give it a try for such a low price, right? I've already downloaded the Master Chief Collection and will be going through the available games co-op with my girlfriend, and I've also downloaded Sunset Overdrive because it's one of the games I was super jealous that I didn't get a chance to play on the XBOX One, lol... looking through the list and there's 190ish games on the PC pass, and there's a few games I'm already considering, I'd like to replay the first Gears for example, and then I'll give Gears 4 and 5 a try if my PC will run them too, also I'd really like to try The Outer Worlds provided, again, my PC will run it, lol.

So yeah... what other games have people been playing on Game Pass PC that might interest me? :o

My PC specs for reference (Only running games at 1080p by the way);

CPU: i5 3570k @3.4ghz
GPU: Radeon RX 580 8GB
RAM: 8GB DDR3

Ruiner is great.Cyberpunk twin stick.

Recore is decent. Rough around the edges but kinda fun.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Slay the Spire is an amazing card/rogue lite game - I put hundreds of hours into that and I can still go on
Children of Morta is a great diablo-esque rogue lite that does a good job to actually make you try all the available chars as they buff each other

Age of Empires series

A Plague Tale: Innocence if you haven't already played it on console yet.

Ori 1 + 2
Bloodstained
Dead Cells
The Gardens Between
The Outer Worlds
Sunset Overdrive

Thanks for the recommendations so far guys, as I said before I've already got the Halo games and Sunset Overdrive installed, and I'm now downloading Ori, Bloodstained and Dead Cells since I've been on the fence about buying the latter two anyway, and Ori has always interested me... also I know all three will run just fine on my computer lol. I'm definitely interested in A Plague Tale but get the feeling my computer won't be able to run it too great, so I might end up buying it on PS4 if not, and Slay The Spire is something I see quite a few streamers play inbetween matches (I watch a few Overwatch streamers) and it's always looked rather interesting so I'm gonna' give that a go too!

Haven't even started playing any of the games yet but I already love the value, lol :P

add Age of Empires II: Definitive edition and Europa Universalis 4 to what has been said. State of Decay 2 (but you've probably already played it) is also great.

Also Gears 5 is great and the graphics are phenomenal (the RX 580 should manage ultra @60fps+.. I have a GTX 1070 which if i remember is roughly equivalent and its more than enough.

I notice ReCore was mentioned above. My brother loved this game but it really bored me and didn't control well on the XB1 where I played it. Skip for later maybe.

I actually have over 300 hours played on Age of Empires II on Steam already, not the definitive edition of course, but meh... also not a big fan of the EU games so I'll be giving that a miss.

I've not played any State of Decay game actually, my interest has always sort of flip flopped when it's come to them... guessing I can jump right into the second without playing the first though? If I decide to give it a try, that is.

I definitely want to give Gears 5 a try provided my computer will run it, since I'm only running at 1080p I reckon I should be able to hit high/ultra at a decent framerate but if I could even play at XBO quality with a nice 60fps (Guessing XBO is equivalent to medium/high) I'll be happy.

ReCore is a game I thought looked great when I first saw it, but then reviews came out and a lot of players seemed to echo the same issues and such with it, but I may have to ignore those opinions etc. and give it a try myself to see what I think of it. Not really a "must play" or anything, but maybe if there's a dry spell and I can't find anything in my backlog I want to jump into.
