Here are the current VGChartz estimates for May:

  1. NS - 370,940
  2. PS4 - 198,992
  3. XOne - 146,192

This will likely change as we get more data. We want our figures to be as accurate as possible even if it means making adjustments often.

I am curious to know what you are all predicting for May NPD figures. Lets get some more responses and liven up this place.

Your Xbox One prediction is pretty spot on with VGChartz estimates with only being about 4,000 higher than what we have. VGC has PS4 estimates about 29,000 higher than your prediction, and Switch estimates about 70,000 higher than your prediction.

What about overall record? I know PS2 did over 500k in 2002 when it got its first price cut and assume Wii or DS had some crazy Mays as well.

Edit: Wii did 675k in May 2008 and I belive thats the overall record.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Surely people have to be running out of stimulus cash by now, and supply issues have to be having some kind of an effect. The bubble has to pop or at least deflate at some point. I'm gonna go with:

NSW: 350k
PS4: 240k
XBO: 200k

Enough to still be each system's best May, but still way down from last month.
