Forums - Nintendo Discussion - New Nintendo IPs in Switch-gen

Tagged games:

It is often said, Nintendo isn't innovative and does no new game-series. Let's see, how this is gone so far in the Switch-generation:

  • 1-2-Switch
  • Arms
  • Mario+Rabbids
  • Labo
  • Ring Fit Adventure
  • Astral Chain
  • Good Job
  • Clubhouse Games
  • Cadence of Hyrule
  • Fire Emblem Warriors
  • Snipperclips
  • Sushi Strikers
  • The Stretchers

Did I miss something?

EDIT: I wasn't aware Clubhouse games already existed on the DS.

Does Clubhouse Games really count? There's usually a compilation of classic games in every console.

Case in point:

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

There was a Clubhouse Games on the DS. So its not a new IP.

Adding to what has already been said, you also need to add another digital game published by Nintendo, The Stretchers.

Nintendo deserves props in this reguard. Good new IPs.

I think these stand out from the rest:
Arms (Nintendo EPD),
Mario+Rabbids (Ubisoft Milan),
Astral Chain (PlatinumGames),
Snipperclips (SFB Games)

Rest arnt as impressive games.

I really wanna try Ring Fit... I bet it is in my local Walmart, but I'm too scared to actually look in the store lol.

Wait...seriously? Who says that? Nintendo is the game company that is constantly innovating. Nintendo is without doubt the MOST innovative game company.

I think u are missing something. Or really I dont think ur making the edfort to understand the critique. Of the games listed, I would only use arms to defend against the critique.

Don't get me wrong, but, seeing as this thread is about Nintendo's new IPs, why are games like Mario+Rabbids and Cadence of Hyrule listed above?
    Those IPs are not Nintendo's.
