Forums - Gaming Discussion - Shoppers are rushing to buy PS4 and Switch in a panic because of coronavirus

What do you think

It's a smart move 9 75.00%

they better chose Toilet paper instead 0 0.00%

they forgot to buy Xbox One 3 25.00%

Total:12

This is kinda crazy. My daughter wants a Switch and Animal Crossing for her birthday and they're pretty hard to find, even here in the states. The big day is 30 days away so I hope I can find one. Did not anticipate this at all!

During this time of a pandemic crisis people are finding ways to temporarily alleviate the situation, and some are crying that the X-box ISN'T the choice for it??? This goes beyond fanboyism.

Who is saying that?  Up until your post, Xbox wasn't even mentioned.

Exactly.  That was the problem for some that I was just describing.  So you really don't have a clue, do you?  I want to say "Not surprised" of you, but maybe I am...

Who....?  Who is complaining that Xbox is not the choice?  Who are these "some" that have a problem?  Nobody in this thread said, "What about Xbox?" Until you did by claiming it's a problem for some people.....people that don't exist in this thread.

I dunno, a lot of experts saying the country should lock down.

I am still working for now.

What do you think?

Apparently we're tracking rather close to Italy in infection rates...

If we did a shut down for 3 weeks to eliminate it in our country and keep the borders closed... I'd be for it.

apparently it's tied in with the testing program and our testing is comparatively high so more cases are detected but on the other side our % of confirmed pertest is very low compared to the rest of the world. upto the 20th march we performed 113K tests for the same time period the US had performed 103K tests and the difference in positive results is staggering.
