I'll get it on PC. Finished DOOM 2016 recently so I'm going to wait a bit before jumping into this one.

Even in a time when we have miracle ports like Witcher 3, it's going to be quite something to see a game this advanced running on the Switch; a late-gen PS4/Xbone game on a new engine that pushes hardware considerably stronger than the Switch to its limits.

Panic Button have their work cut out for them, but this could be their crowning achievement.

The game is awesome .. seriously awesome

Bit disappointed we didn't get a date for the Switch version in the Direct Mini, hope it's not too far off, they have been working on it since mid-2018 after all, albeit alongside other projects.

A look at a cut weapon; the pistol, which didn't make it into the final game:

Just buy it on PC, I hear it runs on a toaster and decently. Or a ps4, x1 but you'll have a slightly less enjoyable ecperience with the controller.

I only have a circa 2015 laptop that even at the time I only got for web browsing and word processing and so it only has potato integrated graphics; I doubt it'd run Doom Eternal much better than my Switch so I may as well wait and play it on my preferred platform.
