Makes me wish I didn't buy the original, ended up not playing it and now this game is out.

Others will envy you for having the opportunity of playing this with everything being novel to you.

Well the base game was great so this should be even better.

Probably, yeah, but it's not really how critics see things. If this game was exactly the same as the original, it would get a much lower score. There are countless examples of remakes or remasters that have marginally improved over the original game, but end up with a lower score anyway. It's just how things are, really. So for P5R to get such a high score probably means this is a big improvement.

I'm only a little concerned about the story. It's cool that there's more of it and more content to enjoy, but I hope they haven't changed major aspects of it because the original was pretty much perfect in that regard. I'm pretty sure they will have changed one major plot point though, and only hoping I'm wrong in thinking that... but anyway, I'll find out when the game comes out.

I know. Still TLOUR got very good critics reception even though it was almost only a port =]

P4G from what I know didn't suffer much with the addictions so let's hope for the best.

That's crazy. Didn't really get into Persona 5 myself, but I might give it another go some time.

Nothing about this version will change the way you feel if you didn't already love the game. I can understand however if you didn't get past the first 15 hours of the game and don't quite 'get it'. Seems crazy to say, but the first 10-15 hours of the game is practically a very hand-holdy tutorial before they finally take the training wheels off and let you actually play the game.

Yeah, it was probably less than 10 hours.

Good lord there is a ton of new content. This is insane.

Like I thought it was a couple new cutscene's and a new character. This is like new everything. There are news things, reinvented things, added things etc.

thx for the info. Perfect!!

Persona 5 is one of my favorite games this gen but I'm surprised its scoring this high. Isn't this just the full game + DLC?

They changed a lot. That article has a list of changes. It is more than 20.

I stand corrected.

I was shocked. I was thinking full game, new character, and free dlc. WAY wrong. Very impressed. Nice job atlus.

It would be wild if P5R ended up being the highest reviewed game this year lol.

Yes it is, although Persona games  make the DLC part of the gameplay for the whole time changing the base game.

Paying full price for a three year old game you already own with integrated DLC does not seem like an intelligent thing to do. Fools and their money.

Many will.
