Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Indie World Showcase set for March 17

Baldo and Bark looked the most interesting to me, but there are several others I might end up trying at some point.

Around the Network

Swery game!

A solid direct, always like that these get a good level of variety in terms of genres and styles.

Highlights for me The Good Life, Blue Fire, The Last Campfire and Ghost of a Tale.

No Blaster Master Zero?.. Lame.

For me, the ones that interested me the most were: I am Dead, Eldest Souls, Faeria, Freakpocalypse, and Summer in Mara.

I'm generally not a fan of shooting games, but Quantum League has a really awesome concept, so it has my interest.

The Good Life and The Last Campfire have me interested, but I'd like to see more. There were also some really cool looking ones in the closing montage, but they went by a little quick.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Summer in Mara was my highlight - but I backed that game on Kickstarter 2 years ago, so there's that.

Balto and I Am Dead seem interesting, though. Faeria also could get interesting, need to learn more about it first, however.

Blue Fire definitely interested me, but I'm a sucker for any 3D platformer.
The Last Campfire looked interesting and it's nice to see Hello Games tackle something with a smaller scope.
Freakapocalypse might interest me, but I'll have to see more to know for sure.

Nice selection of games, but I am disappointed we didn't get a release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong.

really love the art style they use in Baldo, also interested in Summer in Mara and The Last Campfire

I know they are indies, but it is interesting to see that (outside of Exit the Gungeon, which comes out today) the titles presented were given release windows. I may be wrong, but previous indie presentations had at least 2 or 3 titles given firm release dates. It could be due to the COVID-19 affecting certain studios from working in their offices and making up work by working at home.

The Outer Worlds got delayed due to the COVID-19 affecting the team developing the port.

I can see release dates change for games from Spring and onward. This is probably why a general Direct has not been released yet as release dates or windows have not been set until now (hopefully). Or it could be something Nintendo planned from the beginning since Animal Crossing is coming this week and they want to put their marketing focus on that game, which also makes sense since its a huge title.

Really curious about Baldo and The Last Campfire

Eldest Souls really grabbed me.

Exit the Gungeon looks like Enter the Gungeon made for phones. It's a downgrade from the first game in every sense, and is a waste of DodgeRoll's talents.

Everything else looked fairly interesting, but I don't know if I'll pick anything up until I read some reviews.
