Here are the rewards, no idea if they grant any bonus to stats, or serve as just cosmetics.

You get a candybar AND something extra for an already contentfilled game,there are worse greedy practices and like usual these items probably do not even matter that much in the game or would not exist without the marketing deal.
This is kinda good marketing.

Locking DLC this way is a greedy practice. Not every country has them. Some people are allergic. Some people are diabetic. This is just another way of making microtransactions and someone tries to defend it because "optional" as if there ever was a good excuse for them.
