28. [PS4] Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV (Koei Tecmo, 01/17/20) – 1,776 (33,644)

Another week of strong legs, unfortunately this may be the end of ROTKXIV in the top 30, as it will probably drop out of the top 30 next week. I can assume that the legs will remain decently strong. Only 8 more days until I unlock the English version.

Those aren't legs. The game also has only sold half as much as its predecessor so far.

Of course it is legs.

05./00. [PS4] Romance of the Three Kingdoms 14 # (Koei Tecmo) {2020.01.16} (¥8.800) - 20.095 / NEW

Now at 33,644.

[PS4] Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 (Koei Tecmo, 01/28/16) – 20,101 (New)

LTD at ~ 177./000. [PS4] Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 # <SLG> (Koei Tecmo) {2016.01.28} (¥8.800) - 33.526 / NEW (20.101 <70,90%>)

It has already past ROTK 13 PS4 version and will go on to sell more of course. Digital plus legs / PC version will match the other ports in time.

In comparison with ROTK 13 PS4, ROTK 14 has great legs.

A game that's charting for 5 weeks with double digit percentage drops every time and that we will never see again is the opposite of a game that has legs.

I don't see how ROTK14 has accomplished anything noteworthy. First week sales are 60% of its total, which is average. Overall sales are, as I said, half of the previous game because the PS3 version has been dropped. Where did the PS3 people go? ROTK14 selling on par with the PS4 version of ROTK13 is actually a very bad thing because it shows that almost all of the PS3 base has left, or the franchise is declining so badly that sales have been halved either way.

Splatoon 2 and BOTW at #14 and #15 after more than two and half years and almost three years respectively on shelves. As evergreen as a pine forest.

I didn't think there would be a direct this week, cos I'm a pessimistic dunce.

Leggings = BOTW, SMO, Splatoon 2, MM2, MK8D, NSMBUD, SMP, Minecraft and etc.

We will take this section by section...

1. Because it is in the ROTK franchise, a franchise notorious for poor legs especially since it is a 8800 yen game, and it often only charts in top 30 for a week or 2. This is actually good legs in comparison.

2. It is half right now, not accounting digital or PC sales. ROTKXIII is actually on 6 systems vs 2 for ROTKXIV. Clearly the other 4 systems weren't sustainable due to poor sales or projected poor sales in the PS3s case. Since these sales are so good, ROTKXV is pretty much guaranteed and that is all that matters to me.

3. The comparison is ROTK XIII (PS4) LTD sales vs ROTK XIV (PS4) 5 week sales, with ROTKXIV already taking the lead. Surely you know there is a massive difference there.

Those are just evergreens. You can have legs without being an evergreen

Wow! People are like, "well I guess if I can't have the full Switch, I'll buy this shitty Lite model instead". Only the Ring Fit Adventure people are missing out...again.

That's basically the same console tho

Ring Fit is basically an example on how the two differ: to play Ring Fit you need Joycons and you have to put the Switch out of your hands. So with Lite you have to buy additional Joycons and look at the small built in screen as it is propped up on a table or so, instead of TV (as Lite doesn't connect to TV).

3DS-FC: 4511-1768-7903 (Mii-Name: Mnementh), Nintendo-Network-ID: Mnementh, Switch: SW-7706-3819-9381 (Mnementh)

my greatest games: 2017, 2018, 2019

Predictions: Switch / Switch vs. XB1 in the US / Three Houses first quarter

You say your favorite game has legs without meeting any of the criteria.

You say the sales of your favorite game are good even though they declined by 50% when compared to the previous entry.

And when I call you out on it I get this response.

Clearly you are too personally invested in this so there is no point in discussing this game's sales objectively.

I wonder if some of these buyers who are settling for a Lite in this time of shortages will upgrade to a regular Switch further down the line.
