Forums - Website Topics - Option to unfollow threads/remove them from VGC Buddy?

Sometimes, if a thread goes toxic or I'd just rather not think about it any more, it can be annoying to be continuously reminded of it by notifications in the VGChartz Buddy.

Could we get an option to "unfollow"/"unwatch" a thread like IGN now has?

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

People still go to IGN?

Yes please and thank you. It triggers my OCD something fierce. I have to click everything orange.
Leaving me two things
a) Afraid to chat in some threads and
B) Constantly clicking the "new" part of threads I've grown so very tired of.

I've lost all interest in the "MS: 1st party Xbox games will be cross-gen for "next year, two years" thread. It is just two or three people yelling at each other. I don't care but because it ends up being orange I feel the need to click the "new" option and scroll/change pages.

Orange means I'm missing something. So even if it is a thread I don't give a damn about it still sends the message I'm missing something.

  • Deadliest mass shooting by an individual in US history (10/01/2017)
  • Deadliest high school shooting in US history (02/14/2018)
  • Deadliest massacre of Jews in US history (10/27/2018)
  • Political assassination attempt of TWO former presidents(and 10+ other people)  (10/23/2018 - and beyond)

Good suggestion, I shall add it to our list, can't promise when it will be added though as pretty soon we will be moving the site to HTTPs and no fixes/features will be able to be added during that time.

Use this thread for anymore suggestions: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=232694

I agree it is a good suggestion for a new option for users to do.

I always have to click everything blue so I can't ignore a reply to my posts, I don't like leaving blue threads blue. As for orange threads, I do click those more often than not but not always.

EDIT: So by replying to you, I made this thread orange for you? Sorry about that

Nope, stupid me, I obviously made it blue for you. But I don't know if you mind that or not?

I don't mind blue. I kinda like blue. Yes I have to immediately click them. But that is more like "ooh someone is quoting me" as opposed to "why hasn't this thread died already".

Oops I just made yours blue. What an evil circle.

Yes you made it blue and here is proof of your crime, look at what you put me through, the torture, the pain!

As punishment for your crime I'm replying to your reply by not quoting you THUS making your thread ORANGE Mwahahaha!

And I'll stop here before some mod goes: Aha! CrazyGamer is up to no good, I knew that sooner or later he'd slip, and here is my chance to hurt him Mwahahaha!

Hmm You're right Bandorr It's definitely an evil circle... o_O
