Site has been very slow while using my PC, so figured I'd try mobile. The ads are just atrocious. Same stupid ad played 4 times in a row in a span of about 2 minutes. Good. Night.

The bareMinerals ad is covering the scroll bar. I can't scrll down the page.

I think there are 3 ads that are preventing scroll down.

Bare Minerals at Sephora (Macy's)
Potenza RF Microneedling
Flexsure

I'm on Windows 10 using Chrome.  I get these ads on the front page, on the forums page and in every individual thread.  These seem to be the ads I get the most at this point.  I can refresh several times and these ads still come up preventing me from scrolling down.  I really can't seem to use this forum anymore.

This is still a problem.  It has been about a week now.  This is an absolute disaster.  Makes the website almost completely unusable.

The ad from sephora now is showing like 10 refreshes in a row.

The ads were so bad they made this site unusable on desktop. I literally could not scroll or navigate the web page. My ad blocker was ineffective. I finally buckled and became a supporter. I am not proud of it though. This site has the worst ad experience on the internet that I have encountered by far. I know none of the active staff have any control over the ads but I just had to vent and get it off my chest.

Some positive news: Brett has given us the go-ahead to reach out to the ad provider and work with them to either fix or remove ads that break the site, like many of those listed in this thread.

That's great. I'm not keen on installing adblock just for VGC, and am trying to get a few months of non-supporter usage under my belt + waiting for the Platinum and Onyx tiers to be added. Once I'm the king of supporters you'll see......You'll ALL SEE.

Great. Don't know if you already contacted them, but today I haven't had a site breaking ad so far.

I don't know if its just the way my chrome displays it, but the actual amount of on-screen content vs adverts is not optimal.

I'd say the screen space is like 80% adverts to 20% site content.

It's fair to say I think this needs adjustment

Sony want to make money by selling art, Nintendo want to make money by selling fun, Microsoft want to make money.

That is the way it's formatted. You can hold + in chrome (or hold and use scroll wheel) to make the content bigger and drop the borders. I think the site is optimized for smaller monitors so larger monitors get more ad space.

A new culprit for breaking ad arrived, and this time it even have ad over ad.

Chrome on Windows 10.
