As we all know, sometimes the PS4 can be noisy when it gets hot, and at times sound like a jet engine, well according to comicbook.com and bloomberg.com Sony will not skimp on the PS5 cooling system.

PS4's biggest problem is the lack of Suikoden games. If PS5 can fix that then I'd be VERY happy.

As for it being "noisy when it gets hot"; not an issue for me.

I never owned a regular PS4. But, my Pro is the loudest console I can recall, and I've owned almost everything back to Atari 2600. It is ridiculous in some cases. God of War made it sound like a vacuum cleaner. I do consider a real negative.

The PS4's biggest problem? As far as I'm concerned that's got to be the lack of backwards compatibility. If Sony fix that for the PS5 then I'll be happy.

I suppose then it's 2 biggest problems will be fixed. 

It's looking like they'll offer bc too.

I assume you mean BC for PS4 games?

I do wonder why they wouldnt offer it for PS1-3 games as well, at least popular ones. The console will be well and truly powerful enough to do this via software emulation you would think.

I own a Pro and regular PS4 ,the fan noise puzzles me because it seems to be game related and the jet engine sound doesn't always seem to correspond with on screen activity.

I always found PS3 to be much louder.

But sure, it’s loud. Not the biggest problem I have with it though, that would go to that mess of an UI.
