Forums - Gaming Discussion - I never want to play Nintendo Switch in handheld mode again...

I am having some slight drift issues, but held back on buying a new set of joy cons because the issue isn't grave and Nintendo has yet to address the issue. However this Hori product seems to be solution for the issue.

You must have played Xenoblade 2 in handheld mode.

Oh hi ! Good to see you back :)

Got any thoughts on the announcement of XC DE ?

I still get on from time to time, but yeah, nothing really to write about as far as gaming (outside of Devil May Cry 5 being absolutely amazing!). XC: DE looks cool, and I am excited for it. Being as I have already played it, I may wait for a used copy though to get it cheap unless there is a collectors edition. Then day 1, but I never got the 3DS game, and as I said, I beat the original so I can wait to get it.

the hori replacements you speak of sound interesting. i may need to look into those.

on my side of things, i've had maybe four joycons now with issues. either the left joycon control stick has started drifting, or the joycon has just completely died. for instance,  my left joycon's analog stick is a tad unresponsive when pressed downward, and my right joycon's light died, as well as it's sr and sl buttons no longer working.

it's really tiring knowing that the joycons don't seem to last very long, since they're priced as premium controllers. maybe i just play too many games... but that's not really a good enough excuse at this point. none of nintendo's other controllers have ever had the same plethora of problems joycons seem to have.

I do hope they use a variation of XC2 or Torna combat system. I can't go back to XC1 anymore. It's clunky as hell esp seeing how the series has evolved.

I beat the game several times but I want to play this remake a lot but I may knock it to easy mode to breeze through it. I really want to explore that previously deleted area.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I may have read the op too fast and overlooked it but does it have motion control and rumble?
