Forums - Sales Discussion - Xbox Revenue Down 2nd quarter of 2020 But There is some small positivity

Around the Network

At least it means people invested less in Fortnite compared to the same quarter of the previous year 😅

Gamepass grew fast. If they can hold some of the cheap subscribers for the normal price, it will push the revenue of that service a lot in the future but like with Netflix or Spotify, the first years of growth probably hurt a lot financially.

But with an overall operating income growth of 35%, not many will complain...

Wow.21% Xbox revenue down , 44% hardware down.
That hurts😱

Not even the fire sale of the SAD edition could save Xbox hardware it seems, That's a big drop.

Well it is the last year before next gen so drops are expected.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"
