Well, Drake's Fortune holds up remarkably well for a game from 2007.

Still nice to look at and fun to play. It's clearly a product of its time, but I'd say it's aged relatively gracefully compared to a lot of early 7th gen games.

What about Among Thieves? Or do you prefer the first game?
Saw Drake's voice actor play through them on his youtube channel, and seeing Uncharted 2 in action reminded me of how amazing that game was for its time. And that I probably should have had it in my Top 50 list.

Uncharted 2 is my personal favourite of the series, as well as one of the best games of the 7th gen in my opinion, and I'll get around to replaying that one too at a later date, once there's another gap in my gaming schedule. That game blew my freaking mind back in 2009, it was one of those "wow, I can't believe how far video games have come" moments.

Oh yeah, I think we did talk about that at some point. I felt the same way. It's not often that a sequel on the same platform takes so many big leaps forward, that some things were really mind blowing. I remember seeing him drag his feet in the snow in the beginning sequence, and I couldn't believe how advanced the snow physics were. I had just finished playing Uncharted 1 the day before.

Yeah for me it was the sequence where you're attacked by a chopper while running across the rooftops culminating in the building you're in collapsing in real time, it was unlike anything I'd experienced in a video game before. The train level was freaking awesome as well.

Turned mine on yesterday to watch some old downloaded videos. Was surprised to see everything from my PC was available to stream. I don't think I've ever used the feature before.

Still have my PS3 hooked up but it has been a while since I played it. I think EX Troopers disc is still in there from a few months ago. PS3 UI is hard to go back to.

It's also a great machine to play PS1 digital and disc games (emulation is perfect) and some PS2 classics remade on PS3 like Jak and daxter, Ico or Shadow of the colossus.

Sadly PS1 games are region locked and swap discs don't work even on the super slim. Kinda bummed I have to pull out one of my PS1/Ones then, hook it up then get the swap disc. Not a major deal, just when playing imports I need to use a whole different console can be annoying. At least I can use my PocketStation! Rarely get a chance to use that thing.

unfortunately, my brother disassembled it in 2014 to try to mod it and ended up not being able to put it back together again.

I loled

I play Dirt2 multiplayer now and then, it is still active in european evenings.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Yeah I love the guy but he can be a fucking idiot sometimes haha. He's very impulsive and often doesn't think things through. On the hand, he's also brilliant at a bunch of stuff that's all Greek to me like coding and computer animation.

In addition to the Uncharted games I reckon I'll revisit the Resistance trilogy too, I remember having fun with those. And Killzone 3, liked that one too.

i wish we there was an option to host private servers.. i would love to play warhawk and motorstorm again

If fans could get Dreamcast back online then maybe? If fans are dedicated enough it's not impossible.
