I'm trying to line up my next game after a 4 week session of The Witcher 3 from start to Blood & Wines finish and I've been burned now on purchases of two supposedly great games, however thankfully from January sales and I don't want the third, possibly Kakarot, a full priced game to be another one to fail to capture my interest.
Have you bought DBZ: Kakarot? How do you feel about it as a game as a DBZ fan would it still hold up or fail to as new IP? Would you recommend it at full price?
Any other suggestions for games, old, new or soon to release would be much appreciated also, I'm willing to play any genre. The start of this year went from too full to a full on drought so I'm even willing to go for a grindy JRPG or a visual novel as long as they aren't ful price but I'd perfer a nice, sub 30 hour game or even a short indie to wind down from and then line up a long one so multiple suggestions are welcome. I recently tried Hyper light drifter and Dead Nation which both failed miserably to live up to the online opinions and some old PSN freebies like Iconoclasts... I mean, what do people see in these games for them to be rated so highly? Perhaps it is just me coming off of the greatest game of all time and it's phenomenal expansions.
I have Judgment to fall back on but it is one that I'm not feeling the mood for atm. Any help and fresh perspectives would be appreciated, it's another 8 weeks at least til the sun starts getting strong enough to pierce through the seasonal depression and I have an insane amount of free time I need filled to avoid falling into a rut.Last edited by John2290 - on 23 January 2020
