This thread made me realise that I've only listened to 3 albums released in 2019 so it's hard to choose the best between almost nothing at all.

The few songs I've heard haven't really grabbed me. In general, I'm a fan of Tool. And not really a fan of Maynard's other bands.

really love this song and the EP album it is on :) you should check it out
I realized of the 2019 albums I have mostly only heard metal. That being said my favourites of the year were:
1. Tool - Fear Innoculum (Some people were disappointed, I was not. It lived up to the high expectations and stand with the best of their work.)
2. Slipknot - We are not Your Kind (Fantastic album, essentially tied with number. The band's best since Iowa. It perfectly shows off the incredible variety of styles this band can pull off and make it work as a complete album as well.)
3. Diamond Head - The Coffin Train (Return to form for a band that has disappointed for decades, ecery album since their debut in 1980 actually. The Coffin Train blew me away though. Might be their best album period.)
Also enjoyed Rammstein's new album and the Billie Eilish album, if she continued to develop as fast as she did so far, she could become one of the best artists of the 2020's.
Honestly, I think I enjoy 2020's music more than all of 2019. There are a few singles from 2019 I like, incidentally from 2020 albums.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
It took a bit longer than expected, but after two and a half months I've finally finished my top 100 favourite songs of 2019 list! I had like 160 songs that 'I definitely wanted in my top 100', so cutting it down was very hard. I then ranked the remaining 100, and I'm more or less happy with the ranking now, but of course they're all very close in quality and the order changes constantly depending on my mood.

Edit: I put the list in a table to fix the formatting.
Missed this thread in December, I have 3 albums I really loved from 2019:
The Cranberries- In the End (Recorded before Dolores died, released in April 2019, great album that stands with their best from the 90s)
Bishop Briggs - Champion (She kicks ass!)
Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell
Signature goes here!
Babytmetal - Metal Galaxy is freaking epic. Love the diversity of styles and the tasty riffs. Everything from Asian influence to Dance/pop metal to Numetal, Power Metal, and even European Folk metal.
Can't get enough of it. It's probably like 80% of what I've been listening to in 2019 heh, outside of my Pandora Folk Metal playlist, some Metallica/Megadeth, and my Synthwave playlists while working.
