Switch on absolute Fire!

Around the Network

So the NS is guaranteed to catch/pass the SNES before the end of the year only 300k gap so the sales for this week (next weeks numbers) will have it pass the SNES, only the NES and Wii are left on the home console front at this point and the NES will be surpassed next year which will start the road of taking on the milestones of the portables.

So Ps4 with a $50 price cut and Christmas getting closer,  only saw an increase of 20K from previous week in The Americas??

Switch in Japan alone > PS4 in all of Europe, it's strongest territory. Granted, PS4 is older, but still, wow.

I think the switch numbers are too low for this and last week. The other weeks seem about right. Other systems are harder to guess so we can only wait for official announcements.

edit: I assume the week ending january 4 will be week 1 2020. Right?

There are reports that the standard Switch is supply constrained in the US. That is the main reason we don't have sales higher for the Switch. Switch Lite is selling well in Japan, but outside of there the standard Switch in the majority of figures.

Yes, January 4, 2020 will be week 1 2020 for our figures.

Is it that Benji guy? I know he is reliable on resetera but doesn't he only has access to one retailer's numbers? If it isn't official, it's better to just follow your algorithms and wait for PR from the manufacturers.

He has access to national sales of a retail chain.

I know it's just anecdotal evidence but the retailers in my area were in and out of stock in the middle of the month.

It will but you're one year too soon.
