Holy ish! Now THAT is total dominance. Incredible.

I'm just looking at the Dengeki top 50.  Of the 40 Switch titles they break down like this.

16 First party
11 Multiplats, ports and remakes
13 Third party exclusives (or console exclusive at least)

There are actually more third party exclusives than non-exclusives on that list, but in North America only 2 of those games have physical versions: Mario & Sonic 2020, and Disney Tsum Tsum.  We are actually missing out on a lot of third party content.  I know some of those are visual novels and stuff, but there are also games like Fishing Spirits and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun.  I bought my daughter Drum 'n' Fun for Christmas, but I had to import it from the UK.  In NA it is digital only which sucks because the drum is the part that really makes the game.

Anyway, it's clear Japanese devs are making exclusive content for Switch are going to continue to do so.  I would like to see more of it leave Japan though.

Do we know when week 52 numbers will come out?

Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).

Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

Next week. Japan has new years holiday which is why no one releases numbers.

But on the 8th we probably get the combined numbers of both past weeks.

We might get week 52 numbers on monday and week 1 on wednesday.

So will the 29th, 30th, and 31st be counted as week 53 or, how does that work? Do just those days count for 2019, or will the entire week be counted for 2019?

Either way, I suppose we will have to be patient!

Week 52 runs from December 23rd through 29th, so only the 30th and 31st will slip into week 1 of 2020. The weekly tracking periods always run from Monday through Sunday.

A week 53 occurs when enough excess days have been accumulated over the years, so only every 5-6 years.

Thank you. I appreciate the response .

Edit: [I asked a question that was already answered.]

Hopefully not too much longer before W52 then :)

It is rumored that the Top 30 should be in a few hours and the split weeks tomorrow. We're all impatient to know how the Nintendo evergreen titles did!

Will we get hardware today then?
