I finally got the switch. Got AC on pre-order. Looks like I'll have 6 games total when AC launches.

I'm certainly anticipating the title, though I'll admit I'd like to have the specter of Micro T's lifted by a direct first before I put money down on it.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

I swear to god if it's cosmetic MT's, I'll be waiting for a sale. I dislike MT's for an already expensive game, and my SO in general dislikes MT's just as much as I do, so we'd both be waiting for a sale at that point.

I don't know about this one. Even if AC did get MT's it might wind up being a situation similar to DMC4's remaster. The DMC4 Remaster let you spend real money on in game currency or just grind. But they didn't change the amount of grinding needed between the OG DMC4, and the Remaster. In other words they never intentionally made the game more grindy just to sell MTX.

AC could be the same way. And I'd be fine with that.

It's unannounced DLC. Smash, Luigi's Mansion, and Fire Emblem also have the same rating from the ESRB.

You beat me to it. I had just read that over on Nintendolife.

I wouldn't, which is why I'm glad PC is getting it's own take on AC now. SO I've got an actual option to buy the other game if AC goes tits up with MT's. SO already likes the design and furniture customisation of the other game already (as do I).

I have no doubt this will be my favourite Switch game.

Not necessarily. Little Big Planet is not my favorite PS game.

For all I know Zelda BOTW is your favorite game. I fact I just decided that Zelda BOTW is your favorite game.

And no "buts". Need I remind you that my decisions are final!

Wait, what other game? You're saying there's a TemTem, but for AC right? What's it called?

Yup, just like with Temtem, we have a dev taking a crack at making their own AC game. It's called Hokko Life.
