Forums - Gaming Discussion - Turning 25 in 2020?

So, in just a few weeks, the 2010s will be over, and 2020 is on the horizon. This coming year is also going to be the 25th anniversary for a number of great games.

A few off the top of my head:

-Donkey Kong Country 2

-Yoshi's Island

-Clock Tower

-Full Throttle

-Chrono Trigger

Of course there are still many more, I'm sure. What are some great games you know of that are turning 25 in 2020?

I bet all Square does for Chrono Trigger is release the steam port on consoles. I hope I live long enough to see a fully fledged Chrono Trigger Remake with graphics like, if not better than Dragon Quest XI.

I played all of those games except Clock Tower.
But the most important one there for me is Chrono Trigger.

And I have no idea why Square are just sitting on that IP for decades.

Chrono Trigger is a great prequel to Chrono Cross

Can't wait for the fan-remake of Chrono Trigger !

.... Wait , Square made them stop development ?! Ok Square, did you get something official to announce for us ?

Like I said; stupidity.

I'd also like to bring up more great games from 1995.

Area 51:

DonPachi:

Earthworm Jim 2:

Dust: A Tale of the Wired West:

Dragon Quest VI:

Lol Area 51... I played that game so much in arcades I practically knew enemy placements for most levels.

Least better than that fucking Aerosmith game...  Although I'm guilty of playing that.

*bashes your head in with a guitar for dissing an arcade classic* Although the ports were terrible in comparison, and the reason Midway didn't make a sequel.

Some more great games of '95, some of which started major franchises.

Worms:

Time Crisis:

Vectorman:

Twisted Metal:

Trials of Mana:
