Did not played a lot of GameCube games, but will give my top (of the ones I played) in no order:

Super Mario Sunshine-Love it
Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door-Best Mario story
Mario Kart Double Dash
Super Smash Bros Melee-My favorite one
TLOZ: Twilight Princess-even if I played firstly on the Wii, eventually bought the game on for the GC
TLOZ: The Wind Waker
TLOZ: Ocarina of Time Master Quest
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2 Echoes
Resident Evil 4-Played on Wii, but it is a GC game
REmake-Same as 4
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles-Hopefully, people that have not played the game, try it with the HD version coming soon.

Edit: Forgot Luigi's Mansion.

I am very excited for that one!

My top 12 list contains the usual suspects that have already been mentioned every time. However, I'd like to give a shoutout to Killer 7, Viewtiful Joe, SSX Tricky and Resident Evil Zero since those have not been mentioned yet (I may have missed them, though).

1. Wind Waker
2. Smash Bros. Melee
3. Resident Evil 4
4. Animal Crossing
5. Mario Strikers
6. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
7. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
8. Super Monkey Ball

Some solid picks, and good vid! I often forget this console, while not exactly my favorite for most Nintendo properties, actually had quite a few 2nd and 3rd parties I really liked.

Here's my own list if I were to make one:

1. Smash Bros Melee
2. Eternal Darkness
3. Tales of Symphonia
4. Metroid Prime
5. Resident Evil 4
6. F-Zero GX
7. Pikmin
8. REmake
9. Zelda: Wind Waker
10. 1080 Avalanche
11. Super Monkey Ball
12. Soul Calibur 2

* I'd probably put Zelda Twilight Princess on there but I consider that more of a Wii game as it's the console I played it on.

Tales of Symphonia was SO close to being on this list!

Twilight Princess is my favourite, so had to vote 'other'. A note on some big omissions: I never got into the Metroid Prime trilogy much - I'm sure I'll get round to properly immersing myself in them at some point. Mario Kart DD is one of the few titles in that series I've never played. Smash Bros, I played a fair bit of multiplayer, but I've never really warmed to the series like a lot of people have. My full list of 12.

Twilight Princess
Wind Waker
Super Mario Sunshine
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil Remake
Eternal Darkness
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
F Zero GX
Tomb Raider Legend
Star Fox Adventures
Sonic Adventure 2
Turok Evolution (I have a lot of love for this one)

Shout out to Geist, XII, Sphinx and some others I probably forgot.

I love Turok 1-3 + Rage Wars but still have never played Evolution. Sounds like it's worth picking up?

Aside from #1, this was super difficult to decide!

1. Metroid Prime (My favorite game of all time!)

2. Super Mario Sunshine

3. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

4. Super Smash Bros. Melee

5. Luigi's Mansion

6. Eternal Darkness

7. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle

8. Zelda: Wind Waker

9. Mario Kart: Double Dash

10. F-Zero GX

I don’t think I even owned 12 GameCube games...

The only Gamecube game that I thought was exceptionally good was Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. It's my favorite Fire Emblem game, and also the Gamecube game I enjoyed the most. Granted, it still doesn't make my all time top 50, but it would make my top 100. Nothing else on the Gamecube even comes close to breaking into my top 100.

1. Tales of Symphonia: Such an incredible game, I have played through it at least 5 times over the years. My favorite game of this generation beating anything I played on the Gamecube or PS2.
2. Resident Evil 4:
3. Zelda Wind Waker:
4. Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. Need this game re-released.
5. Resident Evil Remake.
6. Zelda the Twilight Princess.
7. Metroid Prime.
8. Eternal Darkness. This game needs to be remade in VR.
9. Mario Kart DD.
10. Pikmin 1/2.
11. Super Mario Sunshine:
12. Viewtiful Joe: Having had the N64 we didn't get many 2D games, and this game reminded me what I was missing. This franchise needs to come back.

I guess so. It has flaws for sure, but I've always been able to overlook them cause I found it really fun overall. It's quite easy to find a cheap used copy (at least here in the UK), so it's not a massive risk price wise.
