The first episode has been sick so far.

Spoiler:

Spoiler!
I think the belters are acting up for no reason again. I swear, they have had a way better deal than before. They are being respected now as another nation, but that's still not enough. They want total separation from the Inners, and possibly war.

The swarm thing reminds me of either Pitch Black or Gears of War. That's some dangerous looking shit. And probably also the reason of the scientist ship being blasted and crashing down. It was a good episode.

Also, Avasarala swears too much. Really tryhard.

Around the Network

The series is not bad, but I was blown away by the novels. Do read them, they are so great, and some motivation of the characters in the series becomes more clear.

Heard good things about the books, I'm just happy that the writer manages to release a new book often and the show has no chance of catching up with the books unlike another major show...

To be fair, James S. A. Corey is actually two guys. The funny thing is that one is actually the assistant to George R. R. Martin (the guy that not writes fast enough, so that the series catches up). But even with two, they are incredibly productive. They have already eight novels, but also multiple novellas and short stories set in the universe. I can't understand how they can write that fast and keep the quality so high.

Amazon Prime Video.

I finally found what Amazon Prime costs, they hide it well with their free trial lol.

I'm not a fan of subscriptions, also no clue what x-ray is. Don't know if my tv can stream it in HDR, if it even has an Amazon prime app. It doesn't look like they're going to release it on blu-ray. Humbug.

x-ray is a feature, where if you pause the video, it shows IMDB-information for the actors in the current scene.

And the first three seasons are on Blu-Ray (at least here in europe), so I expect it too for the next ones.

If you do the free trial The Boys and Carnival Row are both worth checking out.

Used to watch this on Syfy, they always seem to cancel all their good shows. Anyways it just gives me another reason to not watch them. lol wtf is wrong with syfy?

Anyways I will be binge-watching The Expanse on Amazon Prime.

Not enough naked Pixies, to be honest.  I mean, what the hell?  Really slow pace, too, but it has amazing atmosphere.

I'd add The Man in the High Castle to the list, though I'm not that far into it yet.
