PS4 - 3

PACMAN is back!!

Wow at NSW flat WoW. Will put the charts later. SMP whaaaat? what happened there, +165%??

RFA #2, Nintendo better have it in stock

Week 47 marks the fifth best week of the year for the SW and the worst week for the PS4. In order to be in the top for the SW has to sell over 180k and the PS4 more than 34k.

Pokemon crazyness far from over and RFA with stock problems hanging on. OG still selling more than Lite. Japanese love the best version of the SW

Goddamn.

Jesus.

Once again we underestimated the Switch's ability to do the same the week after, and this is just smooth sailing. Also, keep being surprised by the Ring Fit Adventure hold.

Also: Shenmue III did 17K...

This week's year over year gain allows Switch to exceed the 1m mark of its advantage over 2018. If the five remaining weeks are flat, Switch will finish at 4.5m for the year 2019. Last year's December poses a tough comparison because of the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This year there is no December first party release at all, so the already released games have to make the push along with the Switch Lite SKU.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

A Biased Review Reloaded / Open Your Eyes / Switch Gamers Club

Switch is really the christmas gift you should be giving to everyone. That 1k drop from last week! Wow!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Pokemon is doing its job.

If Switch matches last year's numbers this week on, it's gonna end up at 4.3-4.4m for the year in Japan. 5m seems out of reach but wouldn't it be amazing??

Everything else is just disappointing

Holy crap, that's pretty amazing. I suppose the Pokemon craze's word-of-mouth could be causing a snowball effect in Japan, where NSW hardware was flat the week after Pokemon.

Are digital sales reflected for any of the platforms in Famitsu charts? What about the worldwide sales estimates here on VGC? Do those estimate digital? I'd be interested in that metric being estimated to get a clear picture of the market. I wonder which console has the biggest digital market.
