Well I'm happy PS4 got so close to 300k. With Death Stranding showing in the charts it may do even better next week.

Sony announced today that the 1tb slim with 3 games for $199.99 and PS4 pro for $299.99 will be running from nov 24 to dec. 2

A bigger time gap from last year, that definitely will give them nice sales for the holidays.

Hitting their 18 million forecast should be a piece of cake for Switch this FY.

Last FY they did 16.95 million, and so far this year VGC has them tracking 38.9% up over last year.

They could do it even at the end of this quarter already

Depends on how much units they shipped, for the last couple years, they completely underestimated the sales potential as they kept  getting sold Out a couple days before Black Friday, which they Also held out stock specifically for that day.

still a good deal nonetheless

It's possible. I still think there's a chance their December won't be as big as last year's due to no big release to counter Smash, but on the other hand, last year the Lite wasn't out.

Not just Lite but the big Oct/Nov exclusives should also help offset the lack of a big December title.

Last year-Super Mario Party+Pokemon Let's Go

This year-Ring Fit, Luigi's Mansion, Mario & Sonic, Pokemon Sword/Shield

Also last Dec had the $35 eShop bundle, they could do something like that again.

I doubt Mario & Sonic is the kind of game people buy a console for, but Ring Fit/Pokemon/LM3 should help, yeah. Still, Ultimate was absolutely huge so there's a lot to make up for.

Switch was up 75% the week before Pokemon launch in the UK, 30% up during launch week. Switch is the best-selling console of the year so far.

90,000 Switch systems have been sold in the UK so far this November.
