curl, you've repeatedly posted in the threads that allow you to verify whether the number is shipped or sold. Famitsu has Switch at 9.67m sell-through as of last week, Nintendo's financial report puts Switch at 10.00m shipped in Japan.
But I'd say your laziness should be forgiven because you made a thread for this important milestone that probably nobody else would have made. It evens out.
EDIT: A correction is in order. After using the Google translation tool for Nintendo's announcement, the 10m figure is sell-through as of November 3rd, according to Nintendo's own investigation as the translation tool labels it. Could be that Media Create has Switch notably higher than Famitsu, or Nintendo has also other means for sales tracking in Japan.
