I still prefer MGS4, probably because I'm no much into open world. |
Haha I do too. It’s one of my top 3 fav games of all time. I only recommended MGS5 for him bc of what he said his tastes are.

That's certainly a positive sign for the game. If it reviews well, I may buy it when I can grab it for $20 or so.
I was a Day One buyer, but the more I have seen of it, I'm now waiting it out. It could review very well and still be a dumpster fire of ideas and mechanics over being a good game.
I watched the 45 minute gameplay with Kojima, but I'm still not sure I understand what the game is about. I understand that you play the game as a porter and there seems to be heavy emphasis on transporting goods between destinations, but what's with the baby, and is that the core gameplay? Can't wait to play it, as it seems very original and I'm curious what's going on. Admittedly I was playing a game while watching the gameplay, so I didn't quite understand what was going on with the main character, but it seemed like maybe he had a unique blood type or biology that allowed him to preserve the life of the baby? I'm probably way off lol
Next Game with metacritic 90+ incoming...?

Understood, there are certainly plenty of people that love open world.

Not particularly. I loathe Kojima games. Too much talking and too much watching. I never got the appeal. I remember beating MGS in 10 hours, and than beating it in 4 hours when skipping everything. A game shouldn't be 60% watching. |
A game should be whatever the developer wants it to be and if people want to buy it they can. Now you clearly don't like games like that and that's fine but millions of people clearly do like that and had no issue with it and even loved it. I actually prefer story heavy games so it doesn't bother me.

Agreed 100%. I never stated otherwise. My posts are my opinions and my opinions only.
Kojimas games are the ones i still hype about without fear of dissapointment.
