Uncharted3, The Last of Us, God of War Ascension. All look fantastic. But there are so many others which look great as well.

Harriet Tubman.

Though they don't quite match the prowess of games built from the ground up and specifically tailored for PS3's whacky architecture, some multiplats I thought looked really great on PS3 were Need for Speed Most Wanted (2012) and Hot Pursuit, (2010) Bioshock Infinite, and Assassin's Creed 4.

Don't ever discount B2S on the graphics discussion.

Like many others have pointed out. I thought the foliage and lighting was mesmerizing in Last Of Us. Then again, God Of War 3 and Ascension were technical marvels as well. Damn PS3 really did push the limits, didn't it?

Yeah, PS3 was 6,5 years old at the time. They really squeezed out every last drop of juice.

Dunno how CGI didn't come to say it's it yet, lol.

B2S is certainly up there with TLoU, even higher as far as face graphics go, but I still think TLoU looks better overall.

Joel and Ellie faces look incredible too, but they the world looks a lot better on TLoU.

And I will say it again, the ending scene of that game is more realistic than basically everything that comes out nowdays (even as they have better graphics).

It's a toss up between The Last of Us and God of War Ascension.

Interesting. I do not remember B2S looking that good. Is that actual PS3 footage of the game? Or PS4?

Of all the consoles so far to exist, I'm not sure if any system has been as thoroughly squeezed for every last drop of performance as the PS3. The amount of money, resources, manpower and world-leading talent that were committed to maxing it out was and maybe still is unprecedented in the gaming industry. Except for maybe the PS4 by the time it's done.
