I am sorry, but I can't prevent myself to say that it looks crap. Ofcourse it is much better than ARK. No doubt here. But it is still ugly to me.

I don't contest the real effort put into this port, I can't really say from my poor technical knowledge if it could have been better or not.

Already played it on PC with almost the best settings and I will buy it again for the Switch
The downgrade of the Graphics doesnt bother me at all.. small price to pay for mobillity.

It's a technical marvel, which should be considered for what it is.

The game looks much better using the mClassic (a graphic processor)

It's quite decent port, probably hardest one so far.

That said, it's an eyesore, just turning down everything until it runs reasonably well will get you only so far (yeah, I know it was just that, but let's not get technical).

Without going with custom art just for this version (like it was done in olden days), which would allow them crisper presentation, this is probably the best it could be done while being most reasonable (though conservative) from business side of things.

If I didn't have a PS4, I'd be all over the Switch port as a way to play the game. As is, I want the game to look good. When I do get the game, I'll get it on PS4.
The port, from what I have seen, seems to be quite the achievement. I really wonder when Rockstar will release GTA V on Switch. They could just use the 360/PS3 version as a start, and I think it would sell really well. The Witcher 3 has opened up the Switch to more open world games.

Same to me its not quite ARK levels of bad.... but its not "pretty".
Graphics are too downgraded imo.
