I swear if this same thread existed but instead asked what you would do to please gamers and make the world of video games a better place, not only there would be way less replies but people would tend to be way more limited in their ideas of doing good.

I would buy up some beloved franchises then announce that I've brought on Uwe Boll to direct the game development for all the games.

I would sell my talented game studios to Nintendo.

So that they could artificially maintain the selling price of their games at the highest point on a permanent basis so as to create the illusion of added value.

Have hentai in every game, even if it makes no sense, hentai must be featured.

Use the PR slogan "releases when it's ready" to make it seem you invest time into quality for like 10 years, cancel development and rework it into a mobile game. (one that isnt even decently working)

Don't forget to end the development by coming out on stage at a show for core gaming enthusiasts and act shocked that the crowd who paid to be there isn't happy to hear what you've done.

Eeehm, Nintendo does it with good reason. Business wise that is. Why? The games keep selling. Why? Because Nintendo's first party titles usually sell continuously with every new system being sold. It's the nature of Nintendo systems.

Re-release some obscure game that featured female frontal nudity and cover up a blocky crotch area that was 3 pixels wide.

The best part about the FF8 remaster is... if you look at a comparison shot of the 2 versions of the game, the original game actually looks like they've pixelated the faces to hide the identity of those involved in a crime.
