Bluepoint hinting their next project is an LOD remake?!

Looks that way.

I was going to say someone's a bit late for the thread given it's all he ever talks about, but maybe he's just in shock.

He probably gave up all hope at one point..... The day they show the trailers for this, (if this rumor is happending) I bet tears flow.

This and possible "mario sunshine 2" + "mario suneshine remaster" rumor, hope both are true.

Just release the ps one games on PSN. They promised us Ape Escape years ago and we still don't have it :s; Come on Playstation do what Nintendon't and release a virtual console with PS one games etc.

Day one purchase for me as well. It's one of my all time favorite games.

Bluepoint said after their SOTC remaster/remake that their next project was going to be their most ambitious yet.
Remaking such a JRPG would fit this quite well.

I thought they said it was the biggest game/franchise they’ve ever worked on. Am I remembering this wrong? If not, then I wouldn't think LoD matched that. Maybe they’re working on more than one game??

Yea, I doubt their current project is LoD. I believe they said it would be something millions would be looking forward to, so I'm guessing it was a relatively large seller. But, this could mean LoD is in the cards for their next project.

Let's be honest, they aren't working on LoD and tbh we would be lucky to get anything related to that title ever again.

Would buy. Never finished the PS1 version but it was really fun.

But he says remaster, not remake. Bluepoint is working on R3make. My wild guess. Their biggest project yet, re-envisioning an old classic millions anticipate. That doesnt sound like an obscure JRPG like Lagoon of Dragon or whats it called.

Capcom revealed outsourcing R3make, and its not going to be what people expect.

In one interview, they mentioned how they make remasters of older games. Then said that for SOTC, what they achieved was more a remake than a remaster, and then they used the term reimagining to describe their next project because the task is even more ambitious.

I am not saying their next project is a remake/reimagining or LoD, but it is something that is even more demanding than what they achieved with SOTC, which, let’s be real here, was an absolutely colossal (intended) task!

Unless it's built from the ground up like they did RE2 I don't think I can play it.
