As the title says, i just played the FFVII remake demo at Gamescom, I was super impressed, judging by what i played, this is going to be one hell of a game!!

Few points: game ran well, combat was deep and satisfying, characters interacting felt natural. 

Can't wait! This game is going to be huge!

Literally true, I'm guessing all the episodes will be well over 100 gb. 

It will be a GOTY for sure .

I'm jealous, but I am really happy that the planets are a lining that this won't only be a great remake but a great game.

But is it as good as FFXIII?

IDK Famitsu gave FFXIII 9.75/10, that's going to be tough to live up to.

Have they actually confirmed that it will be episodic, and if so, do we know yet if our save data carries over, and to what extent?

I don't know how to answer this xD but yeah of course. 

It has been confirmed as multiple episodes, undisclosed in number and how it works. Last I read the first episode is only through Midgar.  I'm still not sure how Midgar will be 40 hours.
