SWitcher, haha!

Still a bit of work to do on performance in handheld.  The framerate is fairly close to target throughout but there's some frequent stutter problems.  The docked gameplay CD Projekt Red showed off doesn't have the stutter.  I'm betting this is a bit further from final than docked.  This is backed up by their presentation a few days ago where they said they had been recently testing handheld.  I'll be following this with interest, if they can smooth out the stuttering it will make for a pretty darn impressive handheld showing.

Edit:  Also, other off screen footage of handheld  gameplay lacks the stutter so some of it may be the video or recording method.

I hope that 20fps frame rate is because of their video concoction and not the final result.

The framerate's not going to be perfect; even on PS4 there are areas that drop below 30fps. Still, Digital Foundry seemed fairly positive about their experiences with it, so I don't think it'll be too bad.

True.  My issue isn't slowdown but stutter though.  Where the framerate is more or less 30 but will suddenly jerk down to the mid twenties for an instant and then snap back to around 30.  I think a lot of that will be ironed out in the end, we've seen that multiple times now.  But it's definitely distracting in this footage.

DF did a video.... its mainly in handheld mode, that it has dips to the low 20 or mid 20's.
Otherwise it runs a solid 30.... (it plays better in docked mode, more solid fps there).

Still theres alot of sacrifice in graphics to get this running on a switch.
I think this should be played a on a PS4 or PC, if you have such.

Getting this and play on the go is way to good to pass up so I'll be getting this.
I've already played it on PC(without the DLCs)

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Oh, didn't even realise this was a Witcher thread, I thought Switcher 3 was some Indie Game.

I was getting mixed up with The Swapper.

Perhaps I was too much of a smarty-pants for my own good with that thread title pun haha

I loved The Swapper! Great atmosphere and style.

At any rate, this looks good enough for me. October 15th may be less than 2 months off (and sooner than I anticipated, I expected a November release) but I have a feeling the wait is gonna drag. At least I'll be getting Trine 4 in the meantime.
