Again, time spent addressing me directly that could have been used just as easily to actually defend the point you were making.  Glad you find me so much more interesting to talk about.

I do find it very interesting how badly you wanna write walls o text over something so trivial haha.

Because I'm on a gaming message board... and discussing games is specifically what I come here to do?  And I personally found that point interesting? Again, if you don't want to engage, don't, but you're borderline flaming at this point.

I'd love to hear you explain how I'm flaming.

Because despite the fact that I asked you respectfully several times, you continue to make posts about me as a person, and are kind of insulting me in regards to how I choose to spend my time.  You're insinuating that I'm petty, aggressive, and specifically out to antagonize.  Not the most egregious insults I've ever heard, which is why I said borderline.

You're also now completely derailing the thread.  I was talking about Fire Emblem.  I actually posted something about the game.  Trivial as it may have been to you, it's on topic.  And while apparently that was too petty to respond to, you find the topic of why I chose to post it a worthwhile point of discussion.  *Shrug*

So, stop saying anything about me as a person, and stop derailing the thread.  I'll flag anything further in that regard, and I'll leave the mods to decide if it amounts to flaming.  Anything about the potential viability of reclassing Dimitri as a mage?  Otherwise, don't let the metaphorical door hit you.

Potential spoilers, but assuming you do new game + it will be easier to recruit everyone.  You can use renown to upgrade your supports to what they were in the last playthrough, making it easier to recruit them, or use renown to increase Byleth's skills.  Of course, there are some characters that cannot be recruited on certain routes.  Also, keep in mind, if it's not to late, that certain people (Lysithia for instance) can be spared if you finish them off with Byleth.

That's good to know about NG+ ...will make things much easier on my weak heart.

I restarted the stage because it got a bit too chaotic (even though I guess that's the point), but I think I can see a way to win with minimal named character casualties. If I have to kill that character I'll do with the MC though, thanks for the tip!

I actually think you can get through Blue Lions without actually killing anyone from the Monastery.  Edlegard's path on the other hand... well if you have trouble with offing named units that may not be the path for you.

Your own post insinuate that much lol, but ok I guess you could spin it that way. Here's how I could spin the situation, that despite that fact I've told you repeatedly I don't want to argue, you keep trying to bait me rather than just dropping it.

Take responsibility, you're just as guilty for thread derailing, it takes two to hold a conversation afterall. I'm not one for derailing so this will be my last response to you, and now that I know you're like this, I'll be sure to avoid such situations with you in the future.

I managed to pull it off with only losing Bernadetta...but only because she's dumb and didn't leave her ballista as Claude's army rolled in. I also beat Hubert and the foreign girl whose name escapes me, both of whom escaped rather than died. I attempted to "spare" Lysithea by beating her with the MC...but it looked like a real death scene and so I got paranoid and divine pulsed to only beat Claude. Maybe it just a misdirection but I didn't want to risk redoing the stage to find out.

That's good I can keep them alive if I want to...though I'm curious if there was a way to spare Ferdinand and Ignatz in the previous stage, since the requirement was to beat all enemy commanders and it didn't seem like they reacted to the MC beating them. When I do Edelgard's route I'll just brace myself for killing the house leaders and their besties though...and whoever else the game takes away from me.

I'm not 100% sure about that.  I'm on mission 20 and so far I'm pretty sure I haven't had to kill anyone.  Although I had to kill Petra, the foreign girl.  And honestly, I wouldn't feel too bad about killing Hubert.  So far anytime I've beaten Hubert he's retreated.  Bernadetta if my favorite, so I've had her with me in all three runs.

I think what I told you about Lysithea only applied to the Black Eagle route.  I assumed it was the same for BL, but I think that was my mistake.

I'm now on the Edelgard rules run and about to take out Claude. All will bow to the empire .

One question that i have is:

If you kill a character with Byleth, will it survice then or doesn't that make a difference? If so i'll quickly kill Hilda with him.

I think it's based on whether or not you recruited them in part 1, or maybe you just have to have gotten to support level C or B. On my Golden Deer run, the only one I had the option to save was Ashe which I'm sure is because I had recruited him. Everyone else died even if I finished them off with Byleth.

Test and see, you can always use divine rewind.

After checking out Youtube it looks like you indeed need Byleth for it. Damnit for the currect map because he's holding the back and Hilda is coming from the front .

I just rememberd that have *someone* has a warp skill so we're cool .
