Marvelous has announced Story of Seasons: Reunion in Mineral Town, a remake of the Game Boy Advance titles Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town, for Switch. It will launch on October 17 in Japan.

Well every Harvest Moon game recently has been garbage. So remaking one of the good Harvest Moon games should be a safe bet. I mean they can't screw this up right?

Don't like the look the look of the first gameplay image, mainly the ground looks bleh, other two are ok.

edit: Oh it's Story of Seasons. Might actually be good.



The graphics look like it was originally intended for 3DS and then shifted over to Switch midway through development



Looks like a Stardew Valley ripoff.

Pretty sure a cell-shaded artstyle would fit the game better than some low quality 3D style.

Completely 2d would be fine, if they're going for 3d it needs to be more polished than this.

At least it's better than Harvest Moon Light of Hope.
