Really fun game. I understand the praise for it.

You get more coins from online multiplayer races. This reddit post explains wumpa coins quite well. |
So yeah I hit the limit that day somehow..
Got it for Switch, it's really fun I just wish they'd let you earn more coins, it's gonna take some time to unlock everything. Does anyone know if the grand Prix events that are coming up require you to buy the items included or will they just be unlocked when it starts?

You get a progress bar like fortnite how more you play how more challengs you finish how more the bar will fill up, how more you get like wumpa coins/unlockables, some new stuff can be only unlocked in pit shop, if you miss the season or not unlock, everything will be moved to the pit shop.
But things can ofcourse change...
I hate that as a child I could take the blizzard level shortcut without much trouble now I do it in ways that should be impossible.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxLcJD-5Ce8
edit: Oh well two hours later I did it, basically you need two full perfect power slide cycles to create a long boost. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojeJSAxq2RA
Now that I have got the hang of power sliding I am enjoying the game more now. Awesome graphics too!

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.
I just beat the game on hard ^^' I thought it was fine, if you can beat the N'trophy on the time trials it shouldn't be that hard except if you are very unlucky and A.I. spams misseles/blue energy auto aim power up a couple of times.
I'm liking the game so far. I don't really love how heavily the game leans on the powerslide mechanic so heavily even in the early races. I'm not sure it's possible to win some of these races without powersliding almost every opportunity you can with a driver like Crash as there's other racers with a much higher top speed that will just blast past you.
It probably wouldn't be as bad for me if I didn't play so much Mario Kart the past few years. It's an adjustment.
I don't really notice much of a loading issue on PS4. Maybe the trophy loading screen seems a bit... excessive. But for the most part it seems pretty standard? Not sure what the fuss is about.

That's normal at the start of the game but when you get the hang of it you fall in love with it. It isn't that hard aswell, go to time trials take Coco's park, without power sliding it probably takes you 2.30 to do 3 laps, just retry and try to learn how to power slide. I give you 30-60 minutes and you have the hang of it and probably beat the the 3 laps under 1.40, a huge difference and it will help you trough the rest of the game.
Loading times are maybe longer than the Ps one version, same with Crash/Spyro remasters but yeah it doesn't bother me. Especially when you retry a level it is basically only takes a second or two.
'Also their isn't a best character', basically every character is great some swear with Dingodile/Peta pinguin. I am doin't the time trials with coco and I am fine :).
