This news means that Red Dead Redemption 2 lost approximately $400m. Proves the saying "go Wild West, in peace you'll rest" true.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

Those GTAV numbers...Jesus.

Where are you getting that from? No budget info for the game has ever been officially announced (though it was likely close to GTA V's $250m). The game brought in $750m in revenue it's opening weekend alone.

I am a stock expert.

More like a stopp expert, am I right? No? I'll see myself out the door. Shoot, there isn't a door, only a wall. *Turns around awkwardly to see if anyone is staring at him. Sure enough, they are.*

He's just mocking the guy that thought alphabet's share price dropping meant youtube had lost billions of dollars (despite actually making a profit).

The "stock expert" type

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

No shareholder likes to see revenue dropping, when they see revenue starting dropping in an area, heads begin to roll on that area no matter if the company as a whole has positive cash flow.

I used to cheer-lead GTA V sales. Like.... as if, I was some vacuous....cheerleader. I really was just an ignoramus though. I swear it.

I remember arguing, well, talking really, with people on here about how, and why, RDR 2 would never reach GTA V levels of sales. And it so frickin' won't. Deluxe armored wagons and new stupid, spotted-horse variants would never have been enough even under optimal conditions. And the state of RDR 2 is far from optimal.
