If you're into sim-type and/or social games there's a good chance you will.

For all intents and purposes I'm essentially a newbie as well, and definitely enjoying it here. The only other instance I've actually played AC was like 18 years ago on the Gamecube, where I rented it a couple of times. This new one makes that game look archaic by comparison. From my vague memories at least.

I've found that on the one hand, it's such a simple and passive experience, but paradoxically so addictive too. It won't seem like you're doing much but somehow I can't put it down. Like, you can always find something amusing to occupy yourself with, at least for up to an hour or so, then it tends to wear out its welcome for the day. But the cool thing about AC (especially this latest one) is that it's a constantly changing and evolving in-game ecosystem so there's something new to check just about every day. It's very much a "play in short bursts" kind of game but on the other hand its replay value is basically infinite.

After almost 5 hours of gameplay I can tell you this game if for sure very addicting, I only stopped because I need to get some sleep to work tomorrow. Excited to play tomorrow when the airport opens

If you mean how to make sure the text doesn't cut off a word to go to the next line, use spaces to push the word to the next line. Idk why the devs made it like that, been that way forever, but yeah it's annoying.

Yep that's undoubtedly the purpose behind 1 Island per Switch rather than per user profile, along with only 1 user having full control of the Island. These things don't affect me personally, but I will still criticize them for worsening the game to increase their bottomline.

Easter has eaten into my money making from ocean fishing. Used to catching red snappers and knifejaws and now I'm catching eggs.  Have to rely on exotic fruits these next two weeks or whatever it is to Easter.  Of course could play turnip market.
