Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

3 - The mention capabilities will NOT work in the "mobile" version of the editor! This is an unfortunate restriction in the mobile interface, that I have no control over. Which means I'm forced into one or two decisions:

    - Allow for manually typing a "mention" as I had originally designed (the onus being on the user to correctly type the "@" sign, followed by the complete and accurate username)

    - Add a setting to the User Preference page, which will allow users to disable the mobile editor and see the full desktop version of the editor while in mobile.

Well, why not make both an option? An option to manually mention users and one to have desktop version on mobile too.

Also: @TalonMan Great work, Thank you!!

If you're in "dark" mode, the mention will now be in a more readable color - @Ganoncrotch

We'll start here, and I can always lighten it further...    ...it's still "black" for the "standard" and "blue" themes.

seems to be functioning perfectly!! Good stuff Talon.
