I'm with the workers on this. I try to be the devil's advocate when people needlessly criticise China too much while being more than a bit hypocritical about what the west does but this one is is insane and inhumane. China needs to regulate this because apparently it's against Chinese labor laws anyways. China just needs to regulate this studies already show that the word hours of the US are high and unnecessary and this is just on another level. I want China to improve and this is definitely needed to do that. All I can do is offer my support for the workers and hope that the government listens.

I would like the mods to close this thread since the discussion has spiralled put of control and no one is even discussing the topic at hand. They are either defending Mao for killing innocents or the US for killing innocents. Both have killed millions and both are very very wrong. This discussion is about ridiculous work hours which are ridiculous. The best countries like Finland are reducing work hours because they are unnecessary and anyone defending forcing workers to work 12 hours and 6 days a week even though it is against Chinese law and shouldn't happen anyways are being a bit disingenuous.
I'll end as I started. Please any mod close this thread, no one is discussing 996 anyways.
