Let me ask a very simple question.  When you see the police kill a white person who is unarmed and that same police officer gets off scott free what exactly do you do about it.  This is the general question, if you do nothing, if you just accept it as status quo then all lives actually do not mean anything to you.  You see, POC have gotten to the point where they are pissed off that it happens and continue to happen in our society.  People that come with the all lives matter are the same people who has ignored this problems for decades.  They did nothing, will do nothing and want to somehow join the party because they do not see an actual issue.  So when you see BLM, think of it as POC saying we are tired of this happening and if the people who want to parade All Lives matter then they need to get off their buts and seek change as well.  Saying that the Police kill white people or any other race is great, but what are you going to do about it.

"Let me ask a very simple question.  When you see the police kill a white person who is unarmed and that same police officer gets off scott free what exactly do you do about it."

>I advise the family of the deceased to contact legal help and see where they can proceed from there.

"if the people who want to parade All Lives matter then they need to get off their buts and seek change as well"

>Will you be there to naysay us like you just did in the very same paragraph?

"People that come with the all lives matter are the same people who has ignored this problems for decades.  They did nothing, will do nothing and want to somehow join the party because they do not see an actual issue."

I will continue to naysay you when you show me you actually want change instead of lip service.  If you actually cared that anyone is killed by police or police brutality and the only thing you want to do is say go seek a lawyer then you just did the absolute basic and I question even that.  Since it only just service just your one incident and doesn't do anything about the actual problem.  Go seek a lawyer, wow you really gave them some sound advice as if that's not the first thing anyone does, I pat you on the back for the obvious.  Now go a little further and maybe you can join the real dance.

What real dance? The dance out on the streets?

That dance creates more victims of violence, not less and even then, you're not guaranteed a solution, just more problems to sort through.

Yeah, it's hypocrisy when you judge the police by it's most violent members but  refuse to judge demonstration  by it's most violent participants.

The problem is that in the US police, the "bad apples" are overly abundant. Just compare the police killings between the US and UK:

If that's just a few bad apples, then he whole tree is foul to it's roots.

You assume all these killings are done by "bad apples", while I've been arguing the biggest problems are deeper in the system and society.

You'd also need to compare violent crime rates, how many guns there are on the street, how different is mental health care and stuff like that. It's rare for police to be killed, shot at or even assaulted in UK but it seems to happen quite often in US. Mind you, the vast majority of people police kill in US are indeed armed.

I've already given my thoughts how to improve US police. I'm not saying there aren't problems. But once the bigger issues of society and justice system are dealt with, shootings will continue and violent crime will rise.

Every progressive idea getting shafted by the now very popular and untouchable Biden along with the new lease on life DNC

All those things don't make a difference of 1000:1 compared to the UK. The US Police system is rotten by policies that increasingly increased their might, power, equipment and responsibilities while all other programs got cuts. Hence why so many people want to "defund the police" in favor of social programs that got axed more and more over the years. Which would also help solve some of the problems you're pointing at.

That is incorrect.  Its not that people are judging police by its more violent participants.  Its the system that allow those violent participants to get off free when caught.  Its the system that only slaps them on the wrist when they do a crime that would net you and I in jail for a long time.  Its not just about the bad apples in the bunch is the protection of those bad apples that is the result of frustration and anger.  What you do not get is that these bad apples have existed for decades doing wrong and then protected by the system and other cops.  This is where the frustration ad anger comes from when there is no justice when a police officer does some wrong and cause a loss of life through either neglect, incompetence or pure hate.

Don't worry about it, you would never come to understand and we both will be wasting our time.  You have no clue concerning the situation and you really do not care.  You are still the person that do nothing because its hard or the outcome will not be what you want.  Do nothing people always find an excuse to do nothing which is why nothing every changes for them.
