San Marino = one love = 12 points

I was very surprised by the results of this semi-final. Unlike last year, they don't match with my personal opinion at all.

My personal top 10 was:
Finland, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Serbia, Belgium, Australia, Iceland, Estland, San Marino

I was especially surprised that Hungary didn't make it, it's not even the type of music I like but it was by far the most solid performance of the evening.

On the other hand, I am happy that Estonia did go through (for some reason they always seem underrated), and most surprising of all: San Marino.

Yeah results in that first semi final was surprising. The second semi final was of way higher quality. Anyway the final’s in half an hour. Go Duncan! Rotterdam 2020! (will probably be Amsterdam though )

The results of the second semi-final were less surprising, although I think that both Latvia and Lithuania absolutely deserved to go through.

My remaining 'favourites' (aka the songs that I don't really dislike) are Norway, Netherlands, Sweden, Iceland, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Spain and Estonia (in no particular order).

Only hearing the songs for the first time now. Norway is ace, my favourite so far.

I had planned to not give a damn about Eurovision but then I tuned in while watching hockey, saw Iceland and now I kinda care.

Eurovision = legalised torture
For those who don't know: Usually a bunch of hapless "singers" get points from friendly states, regardless of their robotised performances.

Ended up voting for Norway after all. Very solid performance.

I know laughing at a fellow countryman is kinda evil, but I am an evil person so I'm gonna do a whole lot of laughing now.

Btw, Iceland is the true winner. Or Germany because let's face it, getting zero points is impressive.
