Around this time last year, I created a thread about Eurovision 2018, so I thooght I'd do that again for this year's show.

Until now, 38 songs were already published, and the last three will be revealed today. I actually like a lot some of the songs, though I have to admit that the number of generic eurodance songs has gone up from last year. Here are the betting odds. I personally love the songs from the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Cyprus, Norway, Iceland, and Greece, and I would be happy with any of them winning.

I'll put a recap video of all the songs here once the Eurovision channel on YouTube publishes it.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Apparently our act (Netherlands) is doing very good with the bookies. I haven't actually heard it yet though so I don't know.

Based on that act alone they should have permabanned The Netherlands for cultural appropiation.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Seems like a pretty poor year. A lot more bad songs than last year and nothing particularly good or catchy.

I heard the Netherlands will win, but the song isn't country enough imo.

I don't think it's about being country enough. It's about being gimmicky enough and standing out. I don't see it in any of em yet.

Maybe Eurovision is starting to become more of a song contest and less of a freak show. Idk, I just don't see things like Party for Everybody or Dancing Lasha Tumbai almost winning ever again. That aside, the Portuguese and Icelandic songs are pretty weird and apparently predicted to end up in the top 10.
