I'm just starting to learn now. I've taken two classes.

Nice

Yeah. My teacher likes to move at the speed of light. After the first class, she wanted us to know the entire Hiragana and Katakana by heart. I was able to do it by putting in a lot of hours of study. The best way to memorize them is through little online games. I used guessing games, memory, Q&As.. All that I could.

Last class we were taught to count to 10 million, and Kanji up to ten. I'm trying to aborb that now. it's a tough class IMO.

Are you using Genki by any chance?

That was my textbook, and what you typed up sounds like a lot of the early examples from that book.

My memory is on point then.

I believe you got some audio files along with it? In that case, my advice is to put the ones pertaining to vocabulary on your playlist and listen to them throughout the day as you do other things. Commuting to school/work, working out, etc.

Just 1 more day I hope I pass The final test on the last day on wednesday ? Right now I'm at 71% in C already passable I just need this last test final school day then I finally passed the class? Wish me luck guys ^^

Oddly enough, it wasn't easy for me to understand those words all written in kana, I'm getting more and more used to kanjis so read for eg. にほんご instead of 日本語 confuses me.

And yeah, a huge amount of words written in katatanas are based on words we can find in english, like テレビ which means television (shortened).

How far did you get in Japanese?

My sensei gave me points back 7 points yesterday to add to my 71 since I handed my may 18 composition late . So I was at 78.84% before today final exam which I only lost 2 points I ended with 76% though she'll grade my compisition on friday (Which I finished today) I'm so happy ^^. I scored 38/60 on my final exam

I've done up to N3 of the JLPT.
Plan to continue later this year.
