This week's front-page poll.

Given all of the speculation surrounding holiday HW sales, and whether the Switch will hit its goals, I thought this would be a good point at which to set down some markers of the site's expectations vis-a-vis the Xbox One. Then, in a few year's time, we can look back and see how close or far off everyone was.

I'd expect it to happen around the end of this year if I'm honest. Possibly early next year.

i think the switch will stop selling well when next xbox and playstation arrives, so will it be able to overtake the xbox within the next 2 years? dont think so it should sell ~ 28-to 29 million during this time and next year it dont has much aaa software like this year.....

By the end of this year. X1 will get it's legs cut just as Switch is taking off.

I was gonna mock the "if at all" part, but then I realized it's a front page poll. Gotta stay politically correct.

I'm going with early next year.

90% change that it is gonna happen in Q3 2019.

Its actually possible if the X1 sales see a decline from something like a console announcement and the Switch has another year at par or better than 2018.

I'm leaning 2020, but 2019 could happen if Switch does like 20 million.

I think Switch is definitelly selling 20 million this year, but I'm not so sure Xbox One sales will slow down that much.
