Forums - Gaming Discussion - Favorite Games You've Gotten for Christmas?

I love thinking back to my past Christmases, especially the games I've opened on Christmas morning, like Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine or The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

What are your favorite games you've gotten for Christmas (or any winter Holiday)? :)

I'm gonna go with getting a ColecoVision, which came packed with Donkey Kong, a bonus copy of Mouse Trap ( which I shouldn't have got but did. It's another whole story ), and a separately purchased copy of Venture, which is really what made my 8 year old self want the ColecoVision so much to begin with.

The original Legend of Zelda. I opened it early and then wrapped up the box again and put it under the tree. The joke was on me though as I left the map and instructions in the box. Still, it was a great Christmas present.

Oblivion.

I got it for Xmas with an Xbox 360. I really loved that game, played it a tonne. It was my first 7th gen game, and it really felt like a whole new generation too!

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

Back in 2002 I had an SNES, and I got The Flintstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock as a christmas gift.

I remember playing it a lot with my friends.

My grandmother got me a box of Atari and Genesis games for Christmas once. Most of them were crap but there were some gems.

I got a fucking Dreamcast for Christmas the year it launched, from my older brother. Then my Dad got me NFL2K. That was an amazing Christmas.

Super Mario Galaxy. I played it with my sister during the holidays. It's by far the best gaming experience I had in my life.

Was the ColecoVision version of Donkey Kong any good? :)

I remember how much my brother and I loved that game, and how happy we both were to get Donkey Kong Country 2 for Christmas of '95. ^^
